Whitewater Rafting with RIverroots !

Isaiah's Ranch first event, was actually a teen water ski camp held on Lucky Peak Resevoir in 2002. A four day camp that taught youth how to ski, wake board, and also included some wild tubing experiences. In the years that followed the format changed to seperate camps for teen boys and teen girls. 2006 Isaiah's Ranch felt that it was time to re-vamp that program and have begun looking at other options that will be more challenging, and provide greater opportunities to more youth.

Riverroots Kayaking School has generously provided kayaking lessons for Isaiah's Ranch since 2003. Since that time over 25 kids have experience whitewater kayaking. This is a program that is both challenging and fun and will continue to be a vital part of our summers at Isaiah's Ranch.

Getting ready to make the leap!

Teen Action Camp 2007 was held August 13-17th! Eight youth were invited to participate. We had 6 adults who also joined the kids for an adventureous week. Throughout the week were high and low ropes courses, whitewater rafting, mountain biking at Tamarack and kayaking. This camp is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We are already looking ahead to 2008 and making plans for Teen Action Camp next year. It is our goal to only allow about 8 to 10 teens to come to camp each year. It is a one time camp, allowing room for other teens in Boise County to have an opportunity. Let us know early if you are interested!
