For as little as an hour a week, adults can make a huge impact in their community! When kids are mentored, they are 46% less likely to use drugs or alcohol, 53% less likely to skip school, 59% more likely to get better grades. Building Bridges is a mentoring program that seeks to recruit and train mentors in Boise County for children ages 8 to 18. Building Bridges is committed to equipping mentors to provide trust based mentoring relationships with children and youth in their community. Building Bridges will work with the mentors and will take referals from schools and local community service providers as well as parents to match the youth with caring and equiped adults.
